Daniel Joe Wyrick

Daniel Joe Wyrick, age 62, passed away unexpectedly on December 17, 2016 after a long struggle with diabetes. Daniel was born in Minneapolis, MN on July 10, 1954 to Wesley and Lucille Wyrick. He was their second child and second son. He grew up with his five siblings in Minneapolis. Daniel was a talented watercolor painter and enjoyed creating natural scenes that included birds, flowers, and landscapes. Daniel was also a talented musician specializing in the violin and the drum set. He played both into his early twenties. He enjoyed sports activities as well. Daniel is preceded in death by his father Wesley W. Wyrick and his niece Randi Jo Selton. He is survived by his mother Lucille Wyrick; siblings Wesley A. Wyrick, Marcie Selton, Nanette Evans (P. Robert), Rebecca Caulfield (Timothy), Brent Wyrick (Melody); his children Shelly Flink (Phil) and Daniel Seth Mayer; his grandchildren; and his many nieces and nephews. Daniel was a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, and uncle. A celebration of Daniel's life will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 3:00 PM at The New Hope Church, 4225 Gettysburg Ave N., New Hope, MN 55428. Visitation will follow the celebration. Private interment.
