Danita "Dee" (Lynn) Peters

Danita “Dee” Peters, age 50 of Le Sueur, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2019 at her home.  There will be a gathering of friends and family held on Thursday, December 19 from 4-7pm at the Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur.

Dee was born on August 9, 1969 in Kentucky.  She grew up in Florida, and in 1993 she moved to Minnesota.  She married Ray Peters on February 14, 2003 in Le Sueur.  Dee absolutely loved being with her grandkids and her little dogs; they were her pride and joy.

She is survived by her husband, Ray; sons, Corey (significant other, Shali Crocker) Lynn of Shakopee, Craig (Debby) Peters of St. Peter, and Aaron (Holly) Cooke of Mountain Lake; grandchildren, Xander, Ashlynn, Rayce, and Cody; great-granddaughter, Mira; sister, Wendy Richardson; mother-in-law, Kathleen Peters; siblings-in-law, Becky (Chuck) Homer, Deb (Rick) Zuti, Mark (Sandy) Peters, Pam Tollefson, Paul Peters, John Peters, David (Denise) Peters, Lisa (Bob) Schultz, Jim (Julie) Peters, and Bob (Kelsie) Peters; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; father-in-law, Clinton Peters; and best friends, Carrie Fiedler, and Tom Spiess.
