Darlaine Dammann, age 83 of Arlington passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 1st at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church in Arlington. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church. Interment will be in the Arlington Public Cemetery. Darlaine was born on May 27, 1931 in Arlington to John and Clara (Dahlke) Pinske. She was baptized on June 14, 1931 and confirmed on March 25, 1945 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Arlington. Darlaine was a 1949 graduate of Arlington High School and after graduation worked in a jewelry store in Minneapolis. On August 17, 1952 she married Earl Dammann at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Arlington. Darlaine worked as a dental hygienist for Dr. Bart Corcoran in Arlington and she and Earl farmed in Arlington Township for many years. Darlaine loved sewing, quilting, gardening and playing cards. She was a member of the Arlington Garden Club, Arlington Squares, Arlington Conquerors 4-H Club both as a member and later as an adult leader, Advisory Board for Sibley County Extension, and a lifetime member of St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church in Arlington and its' Married Couples Club and Mission Society. She is survived by her husband, Earl Dammann of Arlington; daughter, Susan (Douglas) Rouzer of Cumberland, Wisconsin; son, Warren (Brenda nee Panning) Dammann of Eden Prairie and grandchildren, Maisa (Ali) Sharifian, Brendan (Heidi) Rouzer, Kirstan Rouzer, Bryant Rouzer, Blake (Katie) Dammann, Kyle Dammann and Grant Dammann. Darlaine was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Donnaleen Krugen and brother, Glenn Pinske.
