DARLENE RUTH HERBST LENZEN PEDERSEN

age 90 of Joplin, MO formally of Belle Plaine, MN passed away on Sunday September 8, 2024.

She was born on July 16, 1934 to Ed and Edna Herbst of Henderson, MN. She went to school in Belle Plaine and was Confirmed in Belle Plaine. Darlene married Raymond J. Lenzen on November 7, 1953 in Belle Plaine, MN.

She is survived by her children Roxanne (Gary) Seaver of Winsted, MN, Luanne Leighton of Joplin, MO and Randy Lenzen of LeSueur, MN;  former daughter in-law Mary Lenzen; granddaughter Carrie (Thomas) Lenzen Borst, and their daughter, Hazel; grandson Brian Lenzen and his children Lena and Christopher;  Brother Ed (Bev) Herbst of Hamburg and many nieces and nephews as well as family and friends.

Darlene is preceded in death by her husband Ray, son Larry Lenzen in 9/2018; her mother in-law Wilhelmine Lenzen; her parents Ed and Edna Herbst; grandparents Henry and Loretta Shaefer; grandparents Henry and Martha Herbst and by her sister Shirley.

Celebration of Life will be on Sunday Oct 13th from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the American Legion in Winsted, MN. The family will have a private burial and graveside service.
