Darline Amanda (Teschendorf) Pichelmann

Darline Amanda Pichelmann, age 91 of Arlington, MN died on Thursday morning, September 12, 2024 at the Glencoe Regional Health Care Center.  Service will be private.

Darline was born on October 24, 1932, to Albert and Lorena (Meyer) Teschendorf in Arlington, MN.  She grew up in the Arlington Township area of Sibley County, MN.  She was baptized November 6, 1932, and confirmed on July 7, 1946, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Arlington Township, Sibley County.  She attended St. John’s Lutheran Parochial School in Arlington Township.  She married Norman Pichelmann on October 16, 1949, at Centennial Church in Henderson, MN.  She worked at home raising her children and at the canning factory in Arlington followed by Finger Hut in Gaylord, MN.  She especially enjoyed her work with Bill Pinske Auctioneering.  She worked many years cleaning and custodial duties at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church and School and Fenske / Kolden Funeral Home in Arlington, MN.  She enjoyed cooking, baking, canning and time with family and friends.

She is survived by her children; Gary (Lois) Pichelmann of Stevens Point, WI, Karan Pichelmann of Arlington, MN, Dale (Barb) Pichelmann of Arlington, MN, Bonnie (James) Kube of Arlington, MN and Robert (Chris) Pichelmann of Arlington, MN.  Grandchildren, Dr. Mark (Ellie) Pichelmann, James (Elizabeth) Pichelmann, Amanda (Eric) Heis, Amy (Steve) Heine, Melissa (Daryl) Quiram, Laura (Joe) Erickson, Thomas (Kayle) Kube, Paul (Rachel) Pichelmann, Jakeb (Kersten) Pichelmann and Matthew (Olivia) Pichelmann.  14 Great-grandchildren and brother, Dennis (Jean) Teschendorf.      Many other nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Norman in 2007, siblings, Marvin Teschendorf, Savilla Mesker, Mida Hensen and LeRoy Teschendorf.
