Darold W Schwartz

Darold W. Schwartz, age 100, died on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Comfort Residence in LeSueur. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 9, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Zion United Church of Christ in LeSueur. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday at the Kolden Funeral Home in LeSueur and one hour prior to the services at the church on Monday. Interment will be in the Dresselville Cemetery in Sharon Township. Darold was born on September 4, 1917 on the family Sharon Township farm to Andrew and Louise (Nuessmeier) Schwartz. He graduated from LeSueur High School and on November 8, 1949 he married Leona Braun. He was a dairy farmer in Sharon Township his entire life. Darold was a member of Zion United Church of Christ and served on farmers co-op boards for many years. He enjoyed traveling and simply driving, looking at crops and farms. Survivors include his children, Ann (Ron) Branch of Alexandria, Charles (Ruth) Schwartz of LeSueur and Joel (Pam) Schwartz of Chippewa Falls, WI. Grandchildren; John, Carl and Eric (fiancé, Lauren Hagstrom) Branch, Sara Schwartz, Adam and Ali (boyfriend, Chris Peterson) Schwartz. Brother, Donald (Joanne) Schwartz of LeSueur and Sister-in-law, Suz Schwartz of Broken Arrow, OK. He was preceded in death by his wife (1983), brother, Ivan and grandson, Frank Branch.
