Darrell Arnold Malz

Darrell Arnold Malz, age 71 of Blakeley Township/Belle Plaine, passed away on October 26, 2024 at Cura of Le Sueur. Funeral services will be on Friday, November 1, 2024 at 12:30 P.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Belle Plaine.

Darrell was born on March 21, 1953 to Arnold and Elsie Malz in New Prague, MN. He grew up in Blakeley Township and attended schools in the Belle Plaine area. He spent a lot of his younger years working on the family farm with his father until the family moved to Le Sueur in 1989.

He was a belt buckle collector, car enthusiast and loved county western music. He also enjoyed playing cards and visiting with his friends and family.

Darrell is survived by his sister, Verna Steinborn of Fairfax, MN; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Darlene Moldenhauer and Janice Cemenski.
