Darren Dean Heldberg

Darren Heldberg, age 44 of St. Peter died on November 13, 2012 at his home after a long battle with cancer. Funeral service will be at 11a.m. on Friday, November 16 at the Kolden Funeral Home Chapel in Le Sueur. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home on Friday morning. Interment will be in Mound Cemetery in Le Sueur. Darren was born in St. Peter on July 23, 1968 to Dennis and Sandra (Heilman) Heldberg. He grew up on the family farm in Sharon Township and graduated from Cleveland High School. He has lived in Kasota for the past several years and worked in the mill room at Mars Pet Care (formerly Hubbard Milling) in Le Sueur. He also has worked at Bill's Hardware in St. Peter for several years. He is preceded in death by his father on May 10, 2012. Darren is survived by his mother, Sandra of St. Peter, Brothers, Brian of Minneapolis, Kevin (Wendy) of St. Peter, Dale of Kasota, Nieces and Nephews, Heidi & Shelby, Yesenia & Kalem, David & Kim, Many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins, Close friends, Rick (Denise) Nisle and Brad Schmidt.
