David Arthur Brandt

David Arthur Brandt, age 60 of Le Sueur, passed away at his home on April 28, 2025. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur from 4-7 P.M.

David was born on November 17, 1964 in Le Sueur to Marvin and Linda (Rannow) Brandt. He attended Le Sueur High School and graduated in 1985. Following graduation, he started his career at Le Sueur Inc. where he would work for 30 years. He married Gail Frank on September 25, 2004.

He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to spend his time hunting and fishing, while also tinkering with his trucks and traveling up north. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

David is survived by his wife, Gail Brandt of Le Sueur; daughter, Amanda Haggbloom of OR; bonus children, Amber (Jason) Olson of Madelia, MN, Christopher (Felicia) Mathwig of Wilmar, MN, Crystal (Jeff) Stone of Mankato, MN and Tera (Cory) Boyd of St. Peter, MN; 8 grandchildren and his siblings, Rick (Skip) Andresen, John (Mary) Andresen, Jim Andresen, Doug (Jeff) Brandt, and Deb (Al) Schroer; sister-in-law, Sally Brandt; and many other family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Daniel Brandt (2024).
