David J. Hacker of Le Sueur, died Sunday, December 3, 2017 at his home in Le Sueur. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am on Monday, December 11 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Winthrop. Visitation will be from 4-7:30 pm on Sunday, December 10 at the church in Winthrop and will continue one hour prior to Mass on Monday at the church. Interment will be in the Winthrop Cemetery. David was born on May 21, 1951 at New Ulm, Minnesota to Jerome and Audrey (Bauman) Hacker. He worked for many years as a local and over the road truck driver, most recently driving for CNS Trucking of LeSueur. He enjoyed fishing, nature, gardening, making homemade salsa, miniature toys, auctions and time spent with family, specially his grandchildren. He is survived by his children, Alicia (Chris) Becker of Goodyear, AZ and Jeff Hacker of Chandler, AZ; grandchildren, Haylee, Preston, Isabella and Jackson David Becker; Mohter, Audrey Hacker of Gaylord, Siblings; LaVonne (Bruce) Fredrickson, Kimball, MN, Sharon (Randall) Gieseke of New Ulm, and Richard (Dianna) Hacker of Winthrop and the mother of his children, Heidi Hacker of Chandler, AZ and nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerome.
