David Hokenson

David Erik Hokenson, age 56 of Minneapolis died peacefully on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at the Richfield Health Center. He was born on February 3, 1961 in LeSueur, Minnesota to Odean and Myrtle (Lindquist) Hokenson. He graduated from LeSueur High School in 1979 and attended Austin Vo Tech for Radio Broadcasting. He was an avid Twins and Vikings fan and enjoyed watching the games on television. He is survived by his mother, Myrtle of LeSueur; sisters, Becky Hokenson of Bloomington and Beth Terpstra of Brooklyn Park and a brother, Dan Hokenson of Burnsville. He was preceded in death by his father, Odean and a sister, Miriam (Mimi) Langsjoen. David's family would like to thank Dr. John Seng and staff at Minnesota Oncology, staff at Richfield Health Center and St. Croix Hospice for their care and support. Special thanks to Kim Louricas and staff at Elliot Care Home in Minneapolis where David was a 20-year resident. Memorial Service, Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at First Lutheran Church in LeSueur. (116 Inner Drive). Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the service time.
