David Karl Keup

David Karl Keup age 20, passed away unexpectedly on August 10th, 2012 at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee. Visitation will be on Monday, August 13th from 4-8pm at Kolden Funeral Home in Belle Plaine. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 14th at 11:00am with visitation one hour prior to the service at Trinity Lutheran Church, Belle Plaine. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery immediately following the service. David is the beloved son of Karl and Diane (Heitkamp) Keup. He was born at St. Francis Hospital in Shakopee, MN on November 13, 1991. David was confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine. He attended Belle Plaine public schools and graduated in 2010. He would have entered his third year at St. Cloud State University this fall, majoring in finance. He was interning with Northwestern Mutual as a financial advisor. David had a love of music, hunting, and healthy living. He loved life and was happiest when he was surrounded by friends and family. David worked at Hope Residence and Kingsway Retirement Living. David is survived by his parents, Karl and Diane; his brothers, Scott and Drew; grandparents, Pat Keup and Orville and Luella Heitkamp, Belle Plaine; aunts, Jennifer Heitkamp, Maplewood, Sharon (Lee) Blume, Belle Plaine, Carolyn (Ron) Weber, Plymouth, Karen (Pete) Fogarty, Eden Prairie; and uncle, Kent (Joan) Heitkamp, Shakopee; his cousins, great uncles and great aunts, and many friends. David was preceded in death by his Grandfather, Paul Keup. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to The Lutheran Home Association or Ney Nature Center.
