David M. Weber

David M. Weber age 50, of Le Sueur, died at his home after a long illness on Sunday, February 26, 2023.  Funeral Service will be on Saturday, March 4, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at Zion United Church of Christ in Le Sueur, MN.  Rev. Rosemary Rocha will officiate the services.  Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00 p.m. ~ 8:00 p.m. at the Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur, MN also one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.  Burial will be at St. Anne’s Cemetery, Le Sueur, MN.

David was born on December 29, 1972 to Roger and Diana (Buffington) Weber in Springfield, MN.  He grew up in the Sanborn, MN area and moved to Le Sueur as a young teen.  He graduated from Le Sueur High School in 1991.  He attended Hennepin County Technical College and soon after began working road construction with Local Union #139 for many years.  Before he was married, he served in the Minnesota National Guard from 1990 ~ 1998 and served his state and country.  He married Dawn Ellanson on July 4, 2003 in Bozeman, Montana.  They had two sons together, Lawson and Nolan that he thought the world of and was so proud of.  He truly enjoyed watching them in sports they participated in over the years.  He enjoyed water fowl hunting, outdoors, sports and had a passion for landscaping.

He is survived by his wife, Dawn; sons, Lawson and Nolan of Le Sueur.  Mother, Diana (Richard) Capaul of Le Sueur, MN; sisters; Ruth (Darwin) Steinborn of Le Sueur, MN; Shawna (Dan) Tech of Arizona and Amber Capaul & special friend, Al of Le Sueur, MN.

He is preceded in death by his father, Roger Weber.
