Dayle Troldahl

Dayle Troldahl, age 78 of Gaylord passed away Friday, May 27, 2016. Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Gaylord United Church of Christ. Visitation will be 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to service time Saturday all at the church. Interment will follow a church luncheon on Saturday at Brown Cemetery in Henderson. Kolden Funeral Home of Arlington is assisting the family with arrangements. Dayle Keith Troldahl was born on March 21, 1938 to Oscar and Ruth (Peterson) Troldahl. He married Harriet Kahle. Dayle worked in banking, insurance, and real estate with the Citizens State Bank of Gaylord for 37 years. He served his country in the US Army between 1956 and 1958. He was a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge #109 of Winthrop. He was a member of the Zurah Temple Shrine, Independent Order of Odd Fellows, past president of Gaylord Community Club, past president of Gaylord Rotary Club, Gaylord Jaycee's, Gaylord Development Corp., he was secretary of the Game Protective League in Gaylord, treasurer of the Boy Scouts in Gaylord, member and held several offices at the Gaylord United Church of Christ. Dayle is survived by his wife Harriet Troldahl of Gaylord, children Scott Troldahl of Gaylord, Marc & Terri Troldahl of Hayward, WI., and Paula Troldahl of Gaylord, brother-in-law & sister-in-law William & Lorraine Walsh of Gaylord, Wayne & Margaret Kahle of Paynesville, sister-in-law Elizabeth Troldahl of East Lansing, MI. and many nieces & nephews. Dayle is preceded in death by his parents Oscar & Ruth Troldahl, brothers Verling Troldahl & Oather (Ann) Troldahl.
