Dean John Worm

Dean J. Worm, age 37, of Belle Plaine passed away on December 13, 2023. Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Our Lady of the Prairie Catholic Church at 10:30 A.M. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at Kolden Funeral Home in Belle Plaine from 4-8 P.M. and continued one hour before the Mass on Thursday. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Jordan, Minnesota sometime in the spring.

Dean was born on September 19, 1986 to David and Anita (Hiles) Worm and grew up in Jordan, Minnesota. He graduated from Jordan High School in 2006 and started working for Jordan Transformers (formerly U.S. Transformers) up until he started his job with Mid County Fabricating in 2013. He married Maddie Parcells on November 11, 2017 at the Caribou Gun Club in Le Sueur, Minnesota.

He enjoyed many hobbies such as ice fishing, hunting, 4-H activities, his livestock, county fairs, cornhole, bonfires, and spending time with family and friends.

He was most of all a proud father and uncle.

Dean is survived by his wife, Maddie of Belle Plaine, daughter, Chloee, parents, David and Anita of Belle Plaine, siblings, Daryl “Grub” (Jodi) of Jasper, Indiana, Dale “Buddha” (Lynn) of Dassel, Minnesota, brother-in-law, M. Wayne Adkins of Arlington, Minnesota and many nieces and nephews…

He is preceded in death by his grandparents and sister, Dawn Adkins.
