Delores Haus

Delores Haus, age 91 of Arlington passed away Saturday, February 27, 2016 at the Arlington Good Samaritan Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 3rd at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church in Arlington. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday from Noon until the time of service. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Kolden Funeral Home of Arlington is assisting with arrangements. Delores was born on August 27, 1924 in Fairfax, Minnesota to Herman and Frieda (Habeck) Kiecker. She was baptized on August 30, 1924 and confirmed on May 14, 1939 at Emanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wellington Township and attended country school. Delores married Dwane K. Haus on October 23, 1944 at Emanuel Ev. Lutheran Church in rural Fairfax. She was a homemaker on their rural Arlington farm and also worked for over 40 years at the bakery in Arlington. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Arlington and the Ladies Aid. She enjoyed fishing, baking, gardening, sewing and visiting her many friends and especially her time spent with grand, great-grand children and great-great granddaughter Survivors include her children, Don (Elaine) Haus of Glencoe, Tom (Peggy) Haus of Aurora, CO, Jeanette (Dennis) Schrupp of Mayer and Renea (Dale) Lindquist of Hamburg; 7 grandchildren, Tonya (Chad) Christensen, Scott & Samantha Haus, Cherie (Christopher) Orr, Michael (Sheri) Schrupp, Michelle Schlueter and Schawn (Shelly) Lindqusit. 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter; siblings, Delford (Agnes) Kiecker of Fairfax, Dorothy (Kenneth) Wendlandt of Hutchinson; siblings-in-law, Sophia Kiecker, Fairfax, June (Ralph) Schroeder of Gibbon and Charles Haus of Arlington, many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by husband, Dwane, great-grandson, Ethan Orr and siblings, Lorraine (Clifford) Buboltz, Elmer Kiecker, Marian (Jerald) Wendlandt, Paul (Dorothy) Haus and Mellie (Don) Senkyr.
