Delores A. Krentz

Delores Ann Krentz, age 82 of Belle Plaine died on August 8, 2014 at the Lutheran Home in Belle Plaine. Funeral Service will be 11:00a.m. on Monday, August 11, 2014 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Rural Henderson. Visitation will be Sunday from 3-7 p.m. at the Kolden Funeral Home in Belle Plaine Visitation will continue two hours prior to the service at church on Monday. Rev. Diane Goulson will officiate. Interment will be in the Redeemer Lutheran Church Cemetery. Delores was born on April 12, 1932 to Christian and Frieda (Stier) Schultz in Belle Plaine Township, Scott County, MN. She grew up in Belle Plaine Township on the Schultz Family farm and attended country schools. She married Earl F. Krentz on June 1, 1950 at St. John Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine. She worked various jobs over the years including working at the Plastic Plant in Belle Plaine, Hahn - Becks Variety Store, Telex and ADC in LeSueur. Delores also enjoyed caring for the Moriarty children for a period of time after the death of their mother. She was the organist and very active at her church for many years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Earl, Son, Randy, Brother, Elsworth, and Sister, Laverna Winterfeldt and in laws, Alfred Otto and Eunice Krentz. Delores is survived by her Children, Betty Ann Krentz of Belle Plaine, Marlene (George) Lallak of Garner, Iowa, Richard (Sherry) Krentz of Henderson; 6 Grandchildren; Justin (Shaunda) Krentz, Tim Krentz, Terry (Josh) Muehlenhardt, Jerid (Kelsie) Lallak, Tom Krentz (Roselea Klingberg), Jeremy Lallak 8 Great Grandchildren; Abby Stubenvol, Jevan, Jonathon and Dakota Krentz, Alex and Emily Muehlenhardt, Zoey and Zayn Lallak 3 Step Great Grandchildren; Sister, Shirley Gruber of Blaine; Brother-in-laws, Manley Winterfeldt, Maynard (Doris Edberg) Krentz and Frederick Krentt all of Belle Plaine; Sister-in-laws, Elmira Otto of Belle Plaine and Lois King of Le Sueur and many nieces, nephews and friends.
