Dennis Roy Mckeehan

Dennis McKeehan, age 73 of Le Sueur, died Sunday, January 12, 2014 at his home. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m Wednesday, January 15 at Zion United Church of Christ in Le Sueur. Rev. Kent Meyer will officiate. Visitation will be two hours prior to service time at the church. Interment will be in Mound Cemetery in Le Sueur. Dennis was born on October 15, 1940 to Estil and Alda (Hoyt) McKeehan in Breckenridge, MN. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 1958. He married Geri Reddemann on June 4, 1966 at Zion Church in Le Sueur. He drove truck for Hardrives and Johnson Aggregates until his retirement. He enjoyed sports, whether it be coaching Hockey or watching his grandchildren participate in their respective sports. He also enjoyed cooking, gardening, bird watching, fishing and hunting. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and had a great love for his family. Dennis is survived by his wife, Geri; children, Teresa (Bill) Hettver of Brainerd, Mike (Kate) McKeehan of Green Bay, WI, Lori (Steve) Plieseis of Le Sueur, David McKeehan and family and Tamara Holtquist and family; grandchildren, Nikki (Matt) Fargo, Ashley (Tony) Fargo, Jessica Kruse, Shaun McKeehan, Marissa McKeehan, Ali Plieseis and Matthew Plieseis; two great grandchildren, Sofia Fargo and Azariah Kruse; sister, Donna (Stan) Baglo of Fergus Falls, MN and step-sister, Linda (Armin) Sternberg of Fergus Falls, MN. He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers and one step-brother.
