Dennis J. Wentzloff

Dennis J. Wentzloff, age 52 of Arlington, died at the Arlington Hospital on Thursday, Sept. 29. Funeral services will be on Sunday, Oct. 2, 2011, 3:00 p.m. at the Kolden Funeral Home in Arlington, NM . Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the services at the funeral home. Interment will be in Arlington Public Cemetery in Arlington. Rev. Robert Brauer will officiate the services. Dennis was born on March 15, 1959, in Gaylord MN to Earl & Delores (Muehlenhardt) Wentzloff. He grew up in the Jessenland Township area of Sibley County. Dennis graduated from Arlington High School in 1977 and went to College in Staples, MN for Construction. He returned to Arlington for a short time selling MoorMan's Feed locally. Dennis then took up some advanced training in radio broadcasting in Thief River Falls, MN. After working in the radio industry for a short time locally, he moved to East Lansing, MI where he worked as a security guard. Later Dennis moved to Tennessee where he did some radio broadcasting, and auctioneering. He returned to Arlington in 2003 and has been disabled since returning home. Dennis is survived by his daughter; Christy Wentzloff of Grand Rapids, MI granddaughter; Serena Wentzloff of Grand Rapids, MI and sisters; Ellen (Francis) Traxler of Rural Henderson, MN and Louise (Wayne) Quast of Arlington, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents.
