Diana Mae Trimbo

Diana Mae Trimbo, age 92 of Henderson, died at Mayo Health Systems in New Prague on Thursday, December 9, 2021.  Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church, Henderson, MN.  Visitation will be at the Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur on Wednesday morning from 9:00 a.m. ~ 10:30 a.m.  Burial will follow the Mass at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Henderson, MN.  Monsignor Eugene Lozinski will officiate the services.  Family has requested that everyone wear masks at the wake and funeral.

Diana was born on March 9, 1929 to Raymond and Marinda (Hoffmeister) Braun in Le Sueur County, MN.  She grew up in the Henderson area and later married Kenneth Trimbo on August 19, 1947 in Henderson, MN.  The couple lived in Henderson their entire life where Diana was a homemaker.  She enjoyed vegetable gardening, her flower beds, canning fruits and vegetables, baking,crocheting and was an excellent seamstress and loved sewing.  She could hammer a nail, paint, refinish furniture and reupholster chairs and sofas. She also enjoyed riding Harley and Indian motorcycles with her husband Kenny.  She especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Diana is survived by her children; Laurie (Jim) Engel of Henderson, MN and Jerry (Tammy) Trimbo of Henderson, MN.  Grandchildren; Angie (Ben) Wilson, Stephanie (special friend Mike Milam) Engel, Jessica Engel; Amber (special friend Luke Pepple) Trimbo; Taylor (special friend, Mary Thomas) Trimbo and Travis (special friend Brittany Miller) Trimbo.  Great-grandchildren; Brittany, Ashley, Colton, Dalton, McKayla, Tyler, Nate, Shane, MaLanie, Breken, Reece, Noah, Mason, Wilder and Gage.  She is also survived by her sisters-in-law; Kathy (Loren) Braun, Joyce (Bob) Braun, Gladys (Roger) Braun and Nancy (Larry) Braun.

She is preceded in death by her husband Kenny, parents and brothers; Loren, Bob, Roger, Stanley and Larry Braun and sisters, Jean Theis and Doris Telthoester.
