Diane Dorothy Overson

Diane Dorothy Overson, age 80 of Arlington, died at her home on Wednesday morning, June 15, 2022.  Memorial services will be on Monday, June 20, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Arlington, MN.  Visitation will be at the church that morning from 10:00 a.m. ~ 11:00 a.m.  Burial will be later.

Diane was born on December 6, 1941,  Sibley Township, Sibley County to Alexander and Dorothy (Neubarth) Trebelhorn.  She attended Gaylord grade school and graduated from Arlington High School in 1959.  She worked at the nursing home in Arlington for several years before marrying Dennis Overson on June 15, 1963 at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Arlington, MN.  The couple then moved to Detroit Lakes for 4 years where they managed a resort.  The couple returned to Arlington in 1969 and Diane continued her work for many years, (55 years) at the nursing home in Arlington.  She enjoyed her participation at her church and work with the Mission Society.  She enjoyed fishing, crocheting and her support of the St. Jude Foundation.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Dennis, Sons; Tony (Tammy) Overson of Litchfield, MN and Todd Overson of Greely, CO.  Grandchildren; Amelia (Derrick) Bloedel and A.J. (Katie) Overson.  Great-Grandchildren; Henry & Lucas Bloedel and Elliana & Wesley Overson.

She is preceded in death by  her parents and siblings; Alexander, Phillp, Daryl, Ginny, Vangie and Shirley, her granddaughter Angela and 2 nieces.
