Dolores Regina Woestehoff

Delores R. Woestehoff, age 95 of Belle Plaine, died on August 9, 2014 at the Lutheran Home in Belle Plaine. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in rural Henderson. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the church. Interment will be in the Redeemer Lutheran Church Cemetery. Dolores was born on January 18, 1919 to Alfred and Rosa (Schmidt) Woestehoff in Blakeley Township, Scott Co., Minnesota. She was baptized at Redeemer Lutheran Church and confirmed at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Henderson. She attended Joel District 54 School and graduated from LeSueur High School in 1937. She then attended Rasmussen Business School in St. Paul, MN. Dolores worked at Farwell Ozmun Kirk & Co. in St. Paul until her retirement. She enjoyed reading puzzles and playing cards. Dolores is preceded in death by parents, sister Marion (Leroy) Moenke, nephew, David Woestehoff and niece, Marilyn Moenke. She is survived by her brother Earl (Yvonne) Woestehoff of Belle Plaine; nephew, Donald Woestehoff of Belle Plaine; niece, Doris (Jeff) Sternberg of Lakeville; and niece - in-law, Diane Woestehoff of Belle Plaine.
