Donald "Timmy" Berger

Donald Lee “Timmy” Berger, age 74 of Arlington, passed away on July 11, 2024 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.  A private memorial service will take place at a later date.

Timmy was born in Arlington on November 21, 1949 to Gilbert and Irene (Affolter) Berger.  He grew up on the family farm near Silver Lake, east of Arlington.  Timmy was a “jack of all trades” and worked as a truck driver, farmer, tree trimmer, and auto mechanic. He loved to go fishing and used to race stock cars.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Bob, Bill & Jerry and sister Shirley.

Timmy is survived by his sons, Richard of Luxembourg and Jesse (Jo) of St. Louis Park, MN.

Grandchildren, Mason, Cade and Riley.

Sister, Irene (Jay) Dauffenbach of Belle Plaine,

Brothers, Ed (Barb) of Lakeville,

Gilbert of Marysville, CA,

Ray (Sandy) of Waskish, MN

Many nieces and nephews.
