Donald Henry Mccullough

Donald Henry McCullough, age 78 of Henderson, MN passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 26, 2022.  A time of reflection and remembrance will be on Monday, October 31, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to Noon at the Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur, burial will be private at Brown Cemetery, Henderson, MN.

Donald Henry McCullough was born in Taopi, MN on September 22, 1944, to Edward and Marlys (Schubert) McCullough. Don attended St. Peter High School and then joined the Airforce. He married his high school sweetheart Denise Biehn on November 14, 1964.  Don was a man of many trades; he could make or fix anything. He loved the farm life, raising crops, and livestock, hunting, fishing, and taking care of animals. In his younger days his passion was riding horses and hitching up his mules Jack and Jenny. He was very proud of his family, and we could always count on hearing a compliment from him.  If you knew dad, you had a nickname. Love you always Pops, Snitz, Tootie, Flossie, and Chitch. He lived his life his way.

Don is survived by his loving family: wife of 57 years Denise, daughters Marnie (Kelvin) Braun of Henderson, Kari (Rex) Lind of Winthrop, and Kelly (Billy) Miller of Belle Plaine; grandchildren Kaitlyn (Erik) Goetsch, Karley (Michael) Vanderhooft, Emily Miller (special friend Dylan Pauly), Tyler Miller, Ashley Miller, and Olivia Miller; sisters Delores (Ralph) Furst and Jeannie (Jim) Ness; brother Howard (Jackie) McCullough; and brother in-law Chris (Ann) Biehn.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, mother-in-law Ginny Biehn, father-in-law Cyril Biehn and sister-in-law Vickie Renne.
