Donna Fae Busse

Donna F. Busse, age 71, of Belle Plaine died on Wednesday September 28, 2011. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm on Monday, October 3, 2011 at the Kolden Funeral Home in Belle Plaine, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Monday. Interment will be on Tuesday in the Riverside Cemetery in Pierre, South Dakota. Donna was born on March 27, 1940 in Pierre, South Dakota to Archie and Mae (Burns) Baade. She grew up in Pierre, SD and graduated from Pierre High School. Donna moved to White Bear Lake, MN where she worked at the Paper Calmenson. She later moved to California where she spent most of her life. She was a short order cook for Marie Calender and in 2006 she moved back to Minnesota and has lived at Cardinal Ridge in Belle Plaine for the last 3 years. When she was able, she enjoyed water skiing and hang gliding. She was also an avid reader, history buff , enjoyed researching family history, volunteering and community service. She is survived by her children, Bob Peterson of Roseville, Penny (Bob) Busse of Martinez, CA, Ted (Maria) Ball Yuba City, CA and Bryant Busse of Concord, CA; 9 grandchildren, Tyler, Annabel, Jeramie, Rachelle, Patrick, Michael, Charlotte, Bobby and Tayla; sp. friend, Ron Balgord; brothers, Lyle (Beverly) Baade and David Baade ; sisters, Diana (John) Odell and Avie (Bob) Richter.
