Donna Mae Eibs

Donna Mae (Pfarr) Eibs, age 87, of Henderson, MN, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2026. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 4, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur. Visitation will continue Monday, October 5, at Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur, beginning one hour before the 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anne’s Church in Le Sueur. Lunch will be served following Mass at St. Anne’s School. The interment will take place after lunch at St. Brendan’s Catholic Church Cemetery in Green Isle.

Donna was born on October 11, 1938, to Bill and Susan (Reilly) Pfarr in LeSueur, Minn. She graduated from LeSueur High School in 1956 and attended Technical College in Mankato. She worked as a Telephone Operator in Le Sueur and Minneapolis up until she married Leonard Eibs on May 19, 1962 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in LeSueur, Minn. Together, Donna and Leonard, were blessed with seven children, who were the joy and pride of her life, and shared 64 years of marriage. For more than 50 years, they worked side by side on the family farm, building a life rooted in faith, hard work, and love.

Donna gave generously of her time and talents, volunteering with her church and 4-H and remaining active in Home Extension for many years. She had a gift for making people feel loved and cared for, often through something she had made with her own hands. Her kitchen was a gathering place, filled with fresh cookies, homemade soups, delicious desserts, and room for anyone who stopped by. She enjoyed sewing, canning, and tending her garden, where she found peace among the flowers. To her family, she was a wonderful mother and grandmother whose care could be felt in the everyday things she did. Her grandchildren will always remember her warm hugs and the sweet smell of something wonderful baking in her oven.

She is survived by her husband, Leonard Eibs; her children: Tom Eibs of Henderson, Dan (Jan) Eibs of Henderson, Sue (Joe) Paget of Pine City, Joe (Beth) Eibs of LeSueur, Mary (Myron) Krentz of Henderson, Lynette (Jim) Rohlfing of Mankato and Jenny (Ryan) Spaude of North Mankato; her grandchildren: Clarissa (Zac) Peterson; Jessica (Tyler) Carlson, Courtney (Colin) Geppert, Alison (Braden) Rahn; Andrew (Sara) Paget, Katelyn (Jordan) Sorgert, Eric (Lizzie) Paget; Emily (Clayton) Thompson, Evan Eibs, Jacob Eibs; Megan Krentz, Madi (Jake) Hess, Molly Krentz; Dylan (Kirsten) Rohlfing, Lynsey (Ryan) Kuck, Josh Rohlfing, Patrick (Shannon) Rohlfing, Daniele (Joe) Sullivan; Spencer Spaude, Alaina Spaude; and 11 great-grandchildren with five more expected in the coming months. Her legacy will live on through each new generation of her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Billy and Donald (Judy) Pfarr of LeSueur; and her brother-in-law John (Elaine) Eibs of Prior Lake.
