Donna M Kiewatt

Donna Kiewatt, age 86, of LeSueur died on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at Oak Terrace Senior Living.  She moved from her Ottawa Township farm home just 2 weeks ago.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at 11 a.m. from the United Methodist Church in LeSueur.  Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at the church.  Interment will be in the Mound Cemetery, LeSueur, MN.   www.koldenfuneralhome.com.

She was born on June 21, 1936 in Ottawa Township to Elmer and Sarah (Grams) Jones.  Donna attended District 4 country school, graduated from LeSueur High School and graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter in 1958.  She married Richard Kiewatt on May 29, 1959 at the United Methodist Church in LeSueur.  She worked at various jobs including Green Giant, Northern States Power, Trinity University Admissions Office in San Antonio, TX, Mankato State University, Wilson Campus School and LeSueur Publishing.  She was the clerk for Ottawa Township for over 20 years and was a life-long member of the LeSueur Saddle Club, Busy Lizzies Extension group, 4-H member and leader and volunteered at Treasurers in Town and was an active member of the United Methodist Church and the UMW.

She is survived by her 3-sons and spouses,  Jeff (Teri) Kiewatt, Scott (Barb) Kiewatt and Doug (Gina) Kiewatt of LeSueur.

Grandchildren, Jennifer (Eric) Newman, Thomas Kiewatt, Elizabeth (Justin) Marchman (sp),  Scott and Mark Genz, Megan and Charlie Abeln.

Great-grandchildren, Cora and Ben Newman and Zane, Zoe, Zealand and Easton Genz.  She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Dick in 2011.
