Donna Mae Plieseis

Donna Mae Plieseis, age 54 of Mankato and formerly of Arlington passed away Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 4th at Peace Lutheran Church in Arlington. A gathering time for family and friends will be 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 3rd and one hour prior to service time Thursday all at Peace Lutheran Church. Kolden Funeral Home of Arlington is assisting the family with arrangements. Donna was born on September 2, 1961 in Princeton to Dennis and Darla (Stock) Plieseis. She was a 1980 graduate of Arlington-Green Isle High School. Donna grew up and lived in Arlington and for the last six years resided in Mankato. Donna is preceded in death by her father Dennis Plieseis and her grandparents Wilbert and Gladys Plieseis. She is survived by her special friend; Rick Oachs and his family, her children; Wayne McCormick, Jr. and his girlfriend Sarah Jacobus, Jon McCormick and his girlfriend April Robinson, and Jennifer McCormick, her grandchildren; Logan McCormick and Evan Battcher, her mother; Darla Plieseis, her siblings; Sandra (Duane) McGuire and Brenda (Shannon) Kranz, nieces and nephews, and her dogs; Buddy and Bandit. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
