Dorothy M. Deutsch, age 86 of LeSueur died on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at the Immanuel-St. Josephs's Hospital in Mankato. She was born on January 4, 1926 in Henderson Township, Sibley County to Joseph and Margaret "Maude" (Haugh) Denzer. Dorothy graduated from LeSueur High School. She married Joseph Deutsch on September 25, 1946 at St. Anne's Catholic Church in LeSueur. She worked for over 34 years at the St. Peter Regional State Hospital in St. Peter as an LPN. Dorothy was involved in her community and church as Past President of the MV Health Care Center Auxiliary, Cancer Walk for Life, Chairperson of the Red Cross Bloodmobile in LeSueur for 13 years and Past President of the St. Anne's C.C.W. She is survived by her husband, Joe; 2 Sons, Thomas (Suzanne) Deutsch of Prior Lake and Greg (Special friend, Sue Olson) of LeSueur; Daughter, Patty (Don) Denzer of Savage; 8 Grandchildren and 11 Great-grandchildren; Sister, Maxine Holden of LeCenter and Daughter-in-law, Vicky Vogel of LeSueur. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Betty Teschendorf and Helen Sellner. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anne's Catholic Church in LeSueur on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 11 a.m. Interment, at a later date, will be in the St. Anne's Cemetery in LeSueur. Visitation is from 9 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the church on Thursday with a C.C.W. Rosary at 10:45 a.m. Kolden Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
