Dorothy "Dot" Fouks

Dorothy “Dot” Fouks, age 90 of Le Sueur, passed away on October 24, 2025 at French Medow Place in Le Sueur, surrounded by her loving family. A private service will be held at a later date. All memorials may be sent to the Fouks-Norlander family, PO Box 81, Le Sueur, MN 56058.

Dot was born in Butte, MT, on June 2nd, 1935, to Victor Zeiher and Marie (Tucker) Zeiher. She was the eldest of five children, survived by her sister Phyllis Heinson of Coon Rapids and brother Michael Zeiher of Henderson (Trisha). She had three children: Robin Norlander-Feley of San Diego (Don), David Norlander of Phoenix (Terri), and Dan Norlander of San Diego (Julia). She was also a loving grandmother to five grandchildren: Tyler Norlander, Tiffany Norlander-Bighley (Adam), Kayla Feley, Kelsey Feley, and Libby Norlander.

Dot married Bertil (Red) Norlander (deceased), and they lived in Cottage Grove. She worked at Smead’s in Hastings, MN, until she retired after 32 years of dedicated service. In 1991, Dot married Doug Fouks, and they lived in Mendota Heights until retirement. They eventually moved to Lake Minerva in Danbury/Webster, WI, where they enjoyed fishing, entertaining, and the tranquil lake lifestyle. Dot was an incredible cook, she loved bowling, and she even took up golf. She cherished her happy hours and pull tabs with the many friends she made. After Doug’s passing, she continued living in Danbury until her health declined, leading her to French Meadows, an assisted living facility in Le Sueur, MN.
