Dorothy M. Ehlers

Dorothy M. Ehlers, age 84 of Henderson died on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at Queen of Peace Hospital in New Prague, MN. Funeral services will be on Friday, January 14, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's United Church of Christ. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church on Friday morning. She was born on Dec. 22, 1926 to George and Pauline (Oldenburg) Jents of Henderson, MN. On September 13th 1947 she married Howard "Corky" Ehlers and together had five children. They later divorced but remained close. She retired after 27 years at ADC/Onan in St. Peter, MN and then worked part time at Hilltop Elementary School for several years. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her former husband, Howard "Corky" of Le Sueur, MN. Children; Trudy (Roger) Pivec of Henderson, MN Susan (Scott) Kotasek of Henderson, MN Janet Ehlers of Minneapolis, MN Linda Ehlers (special friend Jeff Eull) Crystal, MN David (Jane) Ehlers of Northfield, MN Special Friend; Annie Grandchildren; Michael and Shannon Kotasek Ryan and Mandy Pivec Mitchell and Bryan Ehlers Great-Grandchildren; Brandon, Casey and Logan Kotasek Sisters; Marion Adams of Le Sueur, MN Loraine Czech of Prior Lake, MN Grand-doggies; Mimi, Max, Tank, Crosby, Tobey and Lacey She is preceded in death by two sisters, Loretta Ehlers & June Schultz; Brother, Robert "Rocky" Jents.
