Dorothy B. Fenske

Dorothy B. Fenske, age 76 of Arlington, died on Monday, May 25, 2015 at Oak Terrace Health Center in Gaylord, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, May 27, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Arlington, MN. Visitation will be at the church on Wednesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Arlington Public Cemetery, Arlington, MN. Fr. Keith Salisbury will officiate the services. Dorothy was born on December 1, 1938 in Padua, MN to Robert & Elizabeth (Majerus) Rooney. She attended country school in the Padua area and later graduated from Brooten High School. She moved to Gibbon at a young age to work and later met and married Ervin "Junior" Fenske on September 12, 1959 in Padua, MN. She worked at an egg plant in Gibbon and later with Fingerhut in Gaylord, MN then as a custodian with the Arlington School District and finally with Telex Communications in Glencoe, MN. She is survived by her siblings; Bernice (Bill) Zenzen of Elrosa, MN; Theresa (Ed) Koenig of Sauk Centre, MN; Rosie (Jim) Kollman of Brooten, MN; Elaine (Earl) Zenzen of Belgrade, MN & David (Clara) Rooney of Padua, MN. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces & nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ervin "Junior" Fenske; brother, Robert "Bob" Jr, & sister, Helen (Gene) Nagel.
