Dorothy A. Halloran, age 97 of Le Sueur, died Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at the Minnesota Valley Health Center in Le Sueur, MN. Memorial Mass will be on Monday, March 17, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at St. Annes Church in Le Sueur. Visitation will be at the church from 10:00 a.m. until Mass time. Burial will be at a later time at St. Thomas Cemetery, St. Thomas, MN. Fr. George Grafsky will officiate the Mass.Dorothy was born on October 11, 1916 in St. Thomas, MN to Tom Katie (Connelly) Moore. She grew up in the St. Thomas area and graduated from Belle Plaine, High School. She married Emmett Halloran in St. Thomas. Following her husbands death she worked various jobs before working at the Mootz Eye Clinic for many years. Enjoyed playing cards. She is survived by her son; Gordon (Jeanne) Halloran of Minneapolis, MN4 Grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Sister-in-Law, Evelyn Moore of New Prague, MNShe is preceded in death by her husband, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
