Dorothy Mae Kistner

Dorothy Mae Kistner, age 64 of St. Peter died on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at  her home.  She was born on January 3, 1955 in Henderson, Minnesota to Melvin and Mavis (Lange) Boettcher.    She graduated from Arlington High School and married Robert Kistner on August 31, 1973 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Arlington Township.  They lived in the Gaylord and Arlington area most of their married lives.  Robert preceded her in death in 2014.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and being outdoors.  Dorothy is survived by her son, Matt (Kira) Kistner of Story City, Iowa and daughter, Jody Kistner of St. Peter as well as a grandson, Grant Kistner.  There are also several brothers and sisters surviving.  Family graveside services will be held at a later date at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  Kolden Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
