Dorothy Ruth Mueller

Dorothy Ruth Mueller, age 87 of Le Sueur died on Monday, September 21, 2015 at the home of her son, Rick. She was born on April 4, 1928 in St. Peter to Glenn and Ruth (Swanson) McKeown. Dorothy grew up and attended Rush River country schools and graduated from LeSueur High School. She married Kenneth Mueller on September 10, 1947 at Zion UCC and they lived for many years in Tyrone Township. She worked various jobs including Green Giant, Seneca Foods in the seedhouse and Gardenview Nursing Home. She enjoyed being active at Zion UCC, visiting, cards, dominos, Bingo and dining with friends. She is survived by Children, Jim (Cindy) Mueller of Delano, Ron Mueller, Rick (Marla) Mueller and Steve Mueller of Le Sueur and Gayle Mueller of Minneapolis. Grandchildren, Krista (Scott) Kiesling, Andrea (Matt) Cyert, Nick Mueller, J.R. (sp. friend, Jessie Nepper) Mueller, Brandon (Angie) Mueller, Joe (Katie) Mueller & Sara Mueller. Great Grandchildren, Cassidy, Kaya, Julia and Virginia Cyert; Michael, Jake, and Anna Kiesling; Ella Mueller, Draydon and Brayvon Mueller. Many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2009, great-granddaughter, Ella Kiesling and two brothers, LeRoy and Clayton McKeown. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 25, 2015 at Zion United Church of Christ. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service.
