Dorothy "Dottie" (Plonske) Wolfe

Dorothy "Dottie" (Plonske) Wolfe, age 95 of Le Sueur, died Saturday, June 28, 2014 at the Minnesota Valley Health Center in Le Sueur. Funeral service will be 11:00 am on Saturday, July 5 at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Le Sueur. Fr. George Grafsky will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Le Sueur. Dottie was born on February 5, 1919 to Joseph and Lena (Schulte) Teff in Foley, MN. She graduated from Foley High School. She married Stanley Plonske on Feb. 5, 1940 and he preceded her in death in 1973. She married Les Wolfe in September of 1979. She enjoyed baking and gardening. She was known for being a seamstress having made many wedding, bridesmaid and prom dresses. She was a member of St. Anne's Church and CCW. Dottie volunteered at the nursing home. She enjoyed dancing and time spent with her children, grandchildren and their families. Dottie is survived by her children, Lee (Vicki) Plonske of Le Sueur, Margaret Rich of Caledonia, MI, Stan (Jean) Plonske of Brainerd, Ralph Plonske of St. Michael and Kathy (Duane) Lundgren of Mankato; sister, Irene Dunham of Lacrosse, WI; 16 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 3 great great-grandchildren; 2 sisters-in-law, Sally Becker of Le Sueur and Rita Teff of Foley; brother-in-law, Alvin Biesen of Spokane, WA and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Stanley Plonske and Les Wolf; granddaughter, Jennifer Riipenen; son-in-law, Ben Rich; 6 sisters and 2 brothers.
