Dorothy Reddemann

Dorothy Louise Reddemann, age 95.of Le Sueur died on Friday, June 24, 2011 at the Minnesota Health Center Nursing Home in LeSueur.. She was born on November 14, 1915 in Sharon Township, Le Sueur County to Charles and Emma (Tiede) Braun. She attended country school. Dorothy married Orbe Reddemann on May 24, 1935 at Zion Church in Le Sueur. They farmed in Tyrone Township on the Reddemann family farm. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Le Sueur and had taught Sunday School and was active in the United Methodist Women. She was very active in the Pioneer Power Association serving popcorn on work nights and in the kitchen during events. She is survived by her children, Sheldon (Donna) Reddemann of Howard Lake and Corinne (Dale) Swanson of Blooming Prairie. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren as well as a sister, Leola Bried and brother-in-law, Darold Schwartz of Le Sueur. She was preceded in death by her husband in May of 1998 and 6 brothers, William, Edward, Harry, Benjamin, Ambrose and Alba Braun and 7 sisters, Caroline Thelemann, Hulda VanBuren, Leona Schwartz, Evelyn Randen, Mabel Braun, Mayme Braun and an infant sister. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2011at 11 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Le Sueur. Rev. Barbara J. Lindgren will officiate. Interment will be in the Salem-Tyrone Church Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur on Tuesday, June 28, and one hour prior to the services on Wednesday at the church.
