Dorothy Stock

Dorothy Stock, age 99 of Arlington, passed away on August 21, 2015 at the Golden Hearts Assisted Living in Arlington. Funeral service will be at 11a.m. on Monday, August 24, 2015 at Peace Lutheran Church in Arlington. Rev. Kurt Lehmkuhl will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church on Monday morning. Interment will be in Arlington Public Cemetery. Dorothy was born in Green Isle Township on December 28, 1915 to Fredrich and Auguste (Schauer) Bullert. She was baptized Dorothea Louise Auguste Bullert on January 9, 1916 and confirmed on April 21, 1929 by Rev. Karl Reuter at Zion Lutheran Church in Green Isle Township. On November 7, 1943 Dorothy married Arthur A. Stock at Zion Lutheran. Together they farmed in Green Isle Township north of Arlington from 1943-1973 when they moved into Arlington. She and Arthur then worked as the Arlington Public Cemetery sexton for 5 years after their retirement. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by her sister in law, Darlene Hogeboom and nieces & nephews.
