Dorothy Tesch-Miller

Dorothy Tesch Miller, age 90 of Gaylord, formerly of Henderson, died on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Oak Terrace in Gaylord, MN. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Kolden Funeral Home in Henderson, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in Brown Cemetery in Henderson, MN. Dorothy was born on October 2, 1925 to William & Elsie (Oldenburg) Apitz in Henderson Township, Sibley County. She grew up in the Henderson area and later married Sylvan Tesch on February 22, 1944 in Henderson, MN. The couple lived and farmed in the Henderson area their entire lives. She also worked at the Community Bank of Henderson and was active in Eastern Star. Dorothy was also very active at the United Methodist Church in Arlington, MN. After Sylvan's death in 1992, she continued to live in Henderson and later married Robert Miller on April 17, 1996, he died in 1999. Dorothy is survived by her daughter Karen Tesch of Faribault, MN. She is preceded in death by her husbands Sylvan & Robert and daughter and son-in-law, Sharon & Virgil Weckwerth.
