Dorrine D. Scharping

Dorrine D. Scharping, age 84, went to her heavenly home on Friday, January 28, 2022 at Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Peace Lutheran Church in Arlington. Visitation will be held at the Church from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to service time Tuesday. Interment will be in the Arlington Public Cemetery.  Lunch to follow in Church fellowship hall.

Dorrine was born in Glencoe, MN to William and Esther Dammann on May 22, 1937, she was Baptised on June 6th, 1937 and Confirmed on April 2,1950 and Married George Michael Scharping on December 10th, 1960 all at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Helen Township, rural Glencoe MN.  She was a devoted mother and faithful woman who loved the Lord, her Family, Church, community, and the bulls. She truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures by spending time with friends and family.

Dorrine was greeted in heaven by her beloved husband, George Scharping, parents William and Esther Dammann and a daughter in infancy.

Dorrine leaves to cherish her sweet memories; two sons, Mike (Julie) and Matt (Kelly) Scharping; 6 Grandchildren; Brett (Britney) Scharping, Makinsey, Lacey, and Kolten Scharping, Kameron and Kiri In and two Great Grandchildren, Braelynn Scharping and Miller Martinez; two brothers, Donald (Carol) Dammann and David (Karen) Dammann and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, family, and relatives.
