Edward "Ed" J. Krueger, age 82 of Waseca and formerly of Elysian and Belle Plaine, died on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at his home in Waseca. Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 2 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in LeCenter. Rev. David Aaker will officiate. Interment will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in LeCenter. Visitation will be from Noon until the time of the services at the church on Wednesday. Kolden Funeral Home of LeSueur is in charge of arrangements. Ed was born on September 17, 1932 in Kilkenny Township, LeSueur County to Albert and Irene (Bartosch) Krueger. He graduated from Waterville High School and entered the U.S. Army. He married Phyllis Boettcher on June 4, 1957 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in LeCenter. He farmed in Blakeley Township, Scott County for 43 years, worked for the Green Giant Company for 6 years and as a custodian for the Belle Plaine Public Schools for 15 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandson, Dylan, horseback riding, trail rides, fishing and hunting. Survivors include his Son, Mark Krueger & his significant other, Niki Voll of Virginia, MN; Grandson, Dylan Krueger; Sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Joan (Le Roy) May of Le Sueur, Carol (Cap) Peterson of Waseca, Curtis (Genise) Boettcher of Waterville and Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Phyllis in 2014; infant son; brother, Arlos and a sister, Bonnie Rosenback.
