Eileen Anne Nelson

Eileen Nelson, age 82, of Le Sueur, died Saturday, April 19th, 2014 at the LeSueur Assisted Living. Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Annes Catholic Church in Le Sueur at 11:00 a.m. on Monday April 28th. Visitation will be Sunday April 27th starting with a C.C.W. Rosary at 4:00 pm and will continue until 7:00 pm at Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur. The visitation will continue on Monday morning until 10:45 am at the funeral home. Interment will be in the St. Anne's Cemetery in LeSueur. Eileen Anne Foley was born July 26th, 1931 to Art and Anne (McMahon) Foley of Le Sueur, MN. She was a graduate of Le Sueur High School and attended St. Benedicts College at St. Joseph, MN. She was employed at General Mills office in Minneapolis until marrying Latta F. Nelson on September 13th, 1952 at St. Annes Church in Le Sueur. Following marriage she worked for several years at the Green Giant company office after which they moved to Blue Earth and Montgomery. They returned to Le Sueur in 1966. She is survived by her husband, Latta, three sons, and their wives, Jeff and Marianne of Waconia, MN., Scott and Annie of Prior Lake, MN., and Tim and Amy of Ripon, CA. She is also survived by grandchildren, Chrissi, Jenny, Hannah, Grace, Patrick and Jack. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister in infancy, and a brother, Ambrose Foley.
