Elaine C. Schleeve, age 84 of Cleveland, Minnesota and formerly of LeSueur died on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at the Minnesota Valley Health Center in LeSueur. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 11 a.m. from Zion United Church of Christ in LeSueur. Interment will be in the Mound Cemetery in LeSueur. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the Kolden Funeral Home in LeSueur and one hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday. Elaine was born on August 3, 1927 in Ottawa Township to Arthur and Helen (Antonsen) Moser. She graduated from LeSueur High School and attended business college in Minneapolis for 2 years. She worked as a bookkeeper in the twin cities prior to her marriage to Willis Schleeve on October 15, 1949 at the United Methodist Church in LeSueur. She assisted her husband in their farming operation as bookkeeper. Elaine was also very active in the TOPS organization serving as state treasurer and was area captain. She enjoyed cooking, baking, spectator sports, gardening as well as her involvement with the Martha Circle at Zion Church. She was a life-member of the Pioneer Power Association. Willis and Elaine moved from the farm to Cleveland, Minnesota in 2006. She is survived by her husband, Willis, Sons, Tom (sp. friend, Holly Millard) Schleeve of Farmington, Tim (Marcie) Schleeve of Burnsville, Daughter, LuAnn (Steve) Smith of Farmington, 12 Grandchildren and 28 Great-grandchildren, Brother, Merle (Betty) Moser of LeSueur, Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 nephews and 1 niece.
