Eleanore M. Schauer

Eleanore M. Schauer, 91 of Arlington, died on Friday, August 31, 2018 at Good Samaritan Society in Arlington, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, September 3, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Arlington, MN. Visitation will be at the Kolden Funeral Home in Arlington on Monday from noon until 1:45 p.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Church Cemetery followed by lunch at the church social hall. Fr. Aaron Johanneck will officiate the services. Eleanore was born on October 24, 1926 in Arlington Township, Sibley County to Matthew & Katherine (Bertrang) Haggenmiller. She attended Arlington Schools and graduated from Arlington High School. She married Ed Adelmann at St. Mary's Catholic Church in 1953. They lived in the Minneapolis, area and she worked for Canada Dry Bottling Co. Ed passed away in 1956. She married Alfred "Sonny" Schauer on October 24, 1959 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Winthrop, MN. Eleanore worked for H.M. Noack Locker Plant in Arlington, MN, before raising her family in Arlington, MN. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, St. Mary's C.C.W, Arlington Home Extension and Hospital Auxiliary. Eleanore also enjoyed needlework and crocheting. She is survived by her children, Mary (Stewart) Skrove of Jackson, MN, David (Lorie) Schauer of Winthrop, MN, Carol (Keven) Kezar of Atkin, MN and Sara (Donald) Quiram of Waterville, MN, 11 Grandchildren and 9 Great-grandchildren; brother, Ray (Barb) Haggenmiller of Arlington, MN; brother-in-Law, Gordon Schauer of Sheboygan, WI and sister-in-law, Edythe Haggenmiller of Arlington, MN. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Ed Adelmann in 1956 and Alfred Schauer in 1995; grandson, Douglas Kezar; sister, Eileen Morrisette and brother, Ambrose Haggenmiller. In-laws; Marion Schauer, Jim Morrisette, Gladys (Alvin) Abraham and Joan (Willie) Wonenberg.
