Elmer A. Tiegs

Elmer A. Tiegs, 84, Le Sueur died November 4th, 2016 in Rochester, Minnesota surrounded by family. Services, Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at 11 a.m., Redeemer Lutheran Church in rural Henderson. Visitation, Monday, November 7, 2016 at the Kolden Funeral Home in LeSueur from 3 to 7 p.m. and 1 hour prior to services Tuesday. Elmer was born Feb. 26, 1932 to Arthur and Ella Tiegs in Tyrone Township. Life-long member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. He graduated from Le Sueur High School. On May 30, 1965 he married Beatrice Gahler near Janesville, Minnesota. Elmer enjoyed farm life and especially riding his "Gator". He is survived by his wife, Beatrice "Bea" Tiegs; Son, Dale Tiegs and fiancé, Lynn Reese of Waseca, and his children, Sammi and Lexi; Daughter, Audrey Drake of Brownsdale and her children Jessi, Jami, and Josi and daughter Amy and Chris Brogan of Pine Island and their children, Erik, Haley, Megan, Monica and Haley. Also surviving are a nephew, David Mueller of Henderson and brothers-in-law, Wilbert (Carol) Gahler, Ernie (Betty) Gahler, Janesville and sisters-in-law, Anita Risto, Waseca and Betty Gahler, Gaylord. Preceding him in death by parents, sister Evelyn ( Howard) Mueller. Also, brothers-in-law Alfred Risto and Herbert Gahler.
