Emma Lee German

Emma Lee German, age 7 of Belle Plaine, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, September 24, 2014. A Memorial Visitation will be from 4-8p.m. on Saturday, September 27 at the Kolden Funeral Home in Belle Plaine and continue one hour prior to the service on Sunday. Memorial Service will be 5:30 p.m. on Sunday at the Kolden Funeral Home in Belle Plaine. Interment will be in the Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred. Emma was born in Burnsville, Minnesota on September 27, 2006 to Chris and Keriann German. She was named after her great grandmother and loved her family tremendously, especially her big brother Brady, whom she lovingly nicknamed Boo Boo. She had a passionate spirit and a huge smile for everyone she met. She loved singing, dancing, telling stories and camping on Lake Superior with her family. She enjoyed the smell of lavender, loved fairy dust and glitter and her favorite colors were pink and purple. She is survived by her parents, Chris and Keriann; Brother, Brady; Grandparents, Anne and Jim Nitti of Palmetto, FL, Kevin Kilgore and Dawn Riley of Monson, MA, Cindy and Scott Kracen of Elgin IL, Gene German and Sara Lassila of Shorewood, MN; Aunts and Uncles, Brendan (Pam) Kilgore of Worcester, MA, Kelley (Chris) Blomer of Two Harbors, MN, Scott German and Carolyn Pegg of W. Dundee, IL; Cousin, Caitlynn Pegg.
