Erna M. Dressel

Erna M. Dressel, age 89 of Le Sueur, died Monday, February 25, 2013 at the Minnesota Valley Health Center in Le Sueur. Private memorial services will be held at the Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur. Erna was born on June 1, 1923 in Le Sueur County, Tyrone Township to Albert and Marie (Laabs) Tiegs. She grew up and attended country school in Le Sueur County. She married Robert Dressel on August 24, 1948 in Henderson. Erna is survived by her children, Virginia (Jack) Mosher of Mankato, Raymond Dressel of Golden Valley and Suzanne (Howard) Holicky of Henderson; grandchildren, Matt Zimmerman and Howard (Charlene) Holicky, Jr.; siblings, Raymond Tiegs of Belle Plaine and Shirley Jaquith of Aliso Viego, CA; and son-in-law, Stan Scofield of Plymouth. Erna is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; daughter, Carol Scofield; grandson in infancy; granddaughter, Cindy Holicky; siblings, Melinda Schmid, Harold, Norris and Bob Tiegs.
