Ethel A. Johnson

Ethel A. Johnson, age 81 of Le Sueur, died on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Minnesota Valley Health Care Facility in Le Sueur. Graveside services will be on Friday, June 17, 2016, 3:00 p.m, Woodlawn Cemetery in Le Center, MN. Ethel was born September 24, 1934 to Henry & Gladys (Dahn) Welckle in Lexington Township, Le Sueur County. She attended rural Lexington Township Schools and graduated from Le Center High School. She married Clifford Johnson on October 14, 1964 in Galina, Illinois. The couple lived in Le Sueur, MN for many years where Ethel worked in Customer Services with Green Giant for many years. Ethel enjoyed her time with friends and playing cards. She is survived by her two siblings, Bruce Welckle of Le Center, MN and Jean Wilkinson of Burnsville, MN. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Cliff in 2013.
