Eugene H Sunderman

March 29, 1930 — April 26, 2013

Eugene H. Sunderman, age 83 of LeSueur died on Friday, April 26, 2013 at the Mayo Health System Hospital in Mankato. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in LeSueur. Interment, with military rites provided by the LeSueur Honor Guard, will be in the Mound Cemetery in LeSueur. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday at the Kolden Funeral Home in LeSueur and one hour prior to the services at the church on Tuesday. Eugene was born on March 29, 1930 in Sharon Township, LeSueur County to Howard and Margaret (Moser) Sunderman. He graduated from LeSueur High School in 1949. He entered the U. S. Army during the Korean War. After his discharge he farmed in the LeSueur area all of his working life. Eugene married Marie Mueller on June 17, 1952 at the United Methodist Church in LeSueur. He was a life-long member of the United Methodist Church and served as usher for many years. He was a director for the LeSueur Cooperative for many years and a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed playing cards with friends, watching sports and time spent with family, especially grandchildren. He is survived by wife, Marie Son, Mike (Linda) Sunderman of LeSueur, Daughters, Mary (John) Andresen of LeSueur and Shelly (sp. friend, Dave Dubbeldee) Nolt of Slayton, Minnesota 10 Grandchildren, Angie (Brandon) Mueller, Jenny (Zach) Trimbo, Jackie (Tom) Wagner, Jason Sunderman, Sarah (Adam) Mathwig, Chad (Danielle) Andresen, Shawn (sp. friend, Leah) Andresen, Travis, Jacob & Cody Nolt 10 Great-grandchildren, Draydon Mueller, Tucker & McKenzee Trimbo, Carter & Liam Wagner, Lydia & Brianna Thibodeau, Henry Mathwig, McKenna & Alliana Andresen. Sister, LaVeryne Garvin, 2 brothers-in-law, Marvin and Norbert Mueller and 2 sisters-in-law, Ethel (Ben) Callanan and Rosie (sp. friend, Larry Faber) Hayden; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; parents-in-law, George and Mary Brandt; father-in-law, Emil Mueller; brother-in-law, Bert Garvin, niece, Linda Garvin and sisters-in-law, Loretta Hauer, Bernice Zamzow and Adela Dammann.
