Eunice E. Krentz, age 73, died on her birthday, July 26, 2011 at the Lutheran Home in Belle Plaine. Funeral service will be at 11a.m. on Saturday July 30, 2011 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in rural Henderson. Visitation will be from 4-8p.m. on Friday at the Kolden Funeral Home in Belle Plaine and continue one hour prior to the service at church on Saturday. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Eunice was born in Blue Earth County on July 26, 1938 to William and Frieda (Blume) Reinke. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church at Willow Creek in rural Vernon Center. On November 26, 1959 she was united in marriage to Maynard Krentz at Redeemer Lutheran Church in rural Henderson. They farmed all their life until retirement in 1995 when they moved to Belle Plaine. Eunice worked part time for Huber's Super Valu and later for the Belle Plaine Elementary Schools until 2010. Eunice was active in Redeemer Church Women and loved to quilt. She loved to cook and spend time with family, especially her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Maynard of Belle Plaine, 5 Children & 12 Grandchildren, Linda (David) Winterfeldt and their children Jennifer of Northfield, Christopher & Michael of Belle Plaine, Larry (Jane) Krentz and their children Melissa & Daniel of Belle Plaine, Wayne (Sue) Krentz and their child Lee of Belle Plaine, Karen (Denos) Riewer and their children Daniel, Austin & Anthony of Baxter, Myron (Mary) Krentz and their children Megan, Madilyn & Molly of Henderson, Siblings, Dorothy Jacobus of Arlington, Robert (Irene) Reinke of Adrian, Leona Krentz (Bob King) of Backus, Audrey Litzau (Jake Bandemer) of Lester Prairie and Charleen Reinke, In-laws, Elmira Otto of Belle Plaine, Delores Krentz of Henderson, Lois King of Le Sueur, Frederick Krentz of Belle Plaine, Many nieces and nephews.
